Welcome to Counselling Plus Community
We have recently made significant changes to our procedures.
Counselling Plus is a charity which offers confidential counselling to people aged 16 years plus, in the local area, at such times of stress, change, pain or loss. One of our main aims is to provide an affordable service for those on low income or living on benefits.
We offer face-to-face counselling from our offices in the centre of Hastings and also provide remote sessions when required, where we offer:
- One to One Counselling
- Counselling for young people from age 16 years
- Specialist counselling for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted (referred by the Saturn Centre)
- Counselling for those affected by Sexual Abuse / Domestic Abuse / Childhood Sexual Abuse
- Specialist counselling for people who have attempted suicide and those affected by suicide
- Anger Management Groups
- Couple Counselling
- A small number of privately-funded counselling sessions

Clinical Supervisor & Assessor Opportunity
The successful candidate will show an ability to supervise a mixed team of experienced and student therapists, alongside having a full understanding of assessing clients presenting with complex issues, including those linked with living in an area of deprivation.
Important Service Update – Changes to Our Fee Structure
From 1st October, we will need to request a minimum charge for sessions, but will continue to raise additional funds to support clients from certain sectors of society so that we can continue to offer free sessions when possible.
